Can you guess where you are? No, it’s not Maine or Vermont - it’s Forest City, Iowa. The second building, located on the hilltop, is The Stable, remodeled into five guest rooms. In the winter, the area beyond The Stable has become a favorite spot for cross-country skiers. Walking around the grounds is a great way to exercise and unwind any time of the year.
The Lodge is located in Forest City, a community of 4300, in North Central Iowa. It offers fine dining and accommodations, as well as casual get togethers. Come and enjoy the luxury and serenity of an evening or weekend. Or stay a week!
The Lodge of Forest City is readily accessible by auto, camper, and private plane. We are located just 15 miles west of Interstate 35. A commuter
commercial airport is located just 35 miles from Forest City, while
private planes can use the local airport with its 5,800 ft. runway
and non-directional radio beacon.
